Gambit Esports have announced that their Dota 2 roster will no longer participate in the ongoing Dota 2 Champions League 2021 Season 2. The organization apologized for unsatisfactory results at the event and wished good luck to other teams in the remaining matches.

AS Monaco Gambit played at D2CL 2021 Season 2 with several replacements, among which were Igor "iLTW" Filatov and Sergei "G" Bragin. The team managed to win only one out of six played matches – they defeated Spider Pigzs (2-1), but lost to PuckChamp (1-2), Winstrike (0-2), Unique (1-2), Chiken Fighters (0-2) and Hellbear Smashers (0-2). The team will get default losses for the remaining three series.

D2CL 2021 Season 2 is a $50,000 online event that is currently in its group stage, with 10 teams competing for six invites to the playoffs stage. Meanwhile Team Spirit and Tundra Esports will start the competition from the playoffs stage.
